How do you define trust? We all might have some common ground in our answer to that question, based on our own experiences. A more personal question might be who or what do you trust? Again, our own reality plays into the formulating of that answer.

Within the pages of this book we share our reality, which at times we were unable to convince our son of. His injury caused him to believe that he was living in a dream and we needed to wake him. Time and time again we would insist—that he just trust us.

Our own trust wavered at best, in the midst of our reality. Though encouraged to trust God, we fell short in our efforts. Thankfully He knew our feeble attempts at the time were the best we could give Him, and He in turn, showed us grace and mercy.
